Eyes Wide Shut: Women Artists Challenge Perspectives at Firetti Contemporary

Firetti Contemporary is hosting an exhibition titled 'Eyes Wide Shut,' featuring a group of ten female artists from countries like the UAE, Iran, Armenia, Ukraine, Palestine, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Kuwait. The lineup includes artists such as Qamar Abdulmalik, Sawsan Al Bahar, Afra Al Suwaidi, and others. Spanning three generations—Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z—these creatives explore a range of mediums, including painting, collage, video, and installation. They tackle important socio-political issues related to cultural and gender identity, personal connections, and broader societal themes. This exhibition aims to challenge conventional views and highlight often-ignored perspectives, prompting attendees to rethink their own beliefs.
