Explora Journeys Delivers Largest Luxury Cruise Ship Explora III

Explora Journeys has just taken delivery of its biggest ship yet, called Explora III, from the Fincantieri shipyard in Sestri Ponente, Genoa. This stunning ship measures 879 feet long, making it 63 feet longer than its siblings, Explora I and II. It features 463 suites, including 109 Penthouses, 39 Ocean Residences, and two Owner's Residences, each with a generous 3,014 square feet of space and a 1,345-square-foot terrace. One of these residences, designed by Patricia Urquiola, even has its own steam room. The ship also offers seven dining options, 12 bars and lounges, a Chopard store, and three outdoor pools. Explora III’s Mediterranean Prelude Journey starts from Genoa until July 29, with stops in Marseille and Saint-Tropez, and wraps up in Civitavecchia. Its first official cruise will depart from Barcelona on August 3 for a week to Lisbon. Meanwhile, Explora IV, V, and VI are being built, with the last two expected to arrive in Asia by 2028. Additionally, Explora Journeys has a 128-day global cruise on Explora I, covering four continents and 63 destinations.
