Experimenter Curators' Hub 2023 convenes global curators for discourse on care, language, and decolonization

Last weekend, the 13th Experimenter Curators' Hub took place at Experimenter – Hindustan Road, in collaboration with ArtReview. The event commenced with Natasha Ginwala, who highlighted the importance of education in a divided world. Co-founders Prateek and Priyanka Raja also addressed the audience. Natalie King shared insights on her curation of the New Zealand pavilion at the 2022 Venice Biennale, collaborating with artist Yuki Kihara to explore themes of intersectionality and decolonization. Renan Laru-an introduced the concept of 'Loob' in relation to SAVVY Contemporary. Sohrab Hura offered a curatorial framework inspired by Andhra Pradesh. Jacinta Kerketta recited poetry and discussed Adivasi community connections. Inti Guerrero presented 'Specter Synthesis' with a focus on LGBTQ+ viewpoints. Sharareh Bajracharya talked about Srijanalaya in Nepal, while Mayank Mansingh Kaul analyzed architecture and textiles. The event concluded with a panel reflecting on the pandemic's effects on artist-run spaces.
