Expanded Body: Artists Explore Oasi Zegna in Immersive Residency
In the Biellese Alps, a group of eight artists from various countries is exploring the Oasi Zegna, a sprawling natural park that covers 100 square kilometers. Led by Andrea Caretto and Raffaella Spagna, this project is called Expanded Body. An Immersive Exploration of the Oasi Zegna and is part of the Unidee residency at Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto, coordinated by Cecilia Guida. Founded in the early 1900s by Ermenegildo Zegna, the park hosts artists like Micol Roubini, Lorenzo Casali, and Fernanda Rappa. They’re studying how to connect with nature without hierarchies. Additionally, guest lecturer Ernst Zürcher is discussing chronobiology and the significance of caring for material samples.
