Exit Art's Final Print Portfolio Highlights El Yunque Rainforest

On November 6, Exit Art will present its final print portfolio at the Editions and Artists Book Fair in New York. This portfolio is part of the organization’s new multimedia exhibition initiative, SEA (Social Environmental Aesthetics), which transitions the focus from social issues to environmental and social themes. The series concludes following the passing of co-founder Jeanette Ingberman this summer. Established in 1982, Exit Art originally opened in Soho before relocating to Hell's Kitchen in 2002. SEA features exhibitions, performances, panels, and lectures; previous topics included alternative vehicles and hydraulic fracturing. The portfolio highlights the El Yunque Rainforest in Puerto Rico, a vital ecosystem and the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System. It includes prints from artists such as Walton Ford and Alexis Rockman, each measuring 30" x 22", packaged in a custom box, with an edition of 50 priced at $8,000.
