Exhibition Histories Book Launch at Temporary Stedelijk Amsterdam

On May 30, 2023, the Temporary Stedelijk in Amsterdam kicked off the launch of the Exhibition Histories book. Sophie Berrebi from the University of Amsterdam initiated the event, which featured a public interview with curator Seth Siegelaub and Teresa Gleadowe from Afterall Books. They discussed key issues surrounding exhibition practices from the 1960s and 1970s. The day concluded with a round-table discussion led by Berrebi, featuring insights from Charles Esche, Deborah Cherry, Ann Goldstein, Christian Rattemeyer, and Siegelaub. This event introduced the Exhibition Histories series, focusing on 'Exhibiting the New Art: 'Op Losse Schroeven' and 'When Attitudes Become Form' 1969'. It took place in the Auditorium of the Stedelijk Museum, with a €5.00 entry fee.
