EXHIBI.TO: 34 Galleries in Turin Launch Post-Lockdown Art Week
Turin served as the venue for EXHIBI.TO, a contemporary art week organized by gallerist Alessio Moitre, from September 21 to 28, 2020, celebrating a post-pandemic revival. A total of 34 galleries and cultural organizations took part, hosting staggered openings. This event led up to a scaled-down Artissima fair. Among the highlighted exhibitions were: a group show at Galleria Umberto Benappi featuring Mondino, Burri, and Nicola Bolla; Riccardo Costantini Contemporary showcasing MAGDA and Simone Stuto; Ilaria Gasparroni's solo exhibition 'Unmade' at Gagliardi e Domke; Daniele Galliano's 'Una pazza felicità' at Metroquadroarte; and several others including works by Sam Falls, Gregorio Botta, Costas Varotsos, Henri Chopin, Baldizzone, and Société Interludio's 'Citèra'.
