Evil Dead Burn Hits PVOD After Tepid Box Office, Aims for Digital Revival

The newest entry in the Evil Dead series, Evil Dead Burn, is set to debut on premium video on demand (PVOD) on Tuesday, Aug. 4, following a limited theatrical release. Directed by Sébastien Vaniček, this sixth installment premiered on July 10. The film features Souheila Yacoub as Alice, who navigates a tumultuous relationship with her husband Will Price, played by George Pullar, leading to turmoil after his demise. It grossed $13.7 million in its opening weekend, amassing a total of $65.7 million globally against a $20 million budget. Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment will offer it on PVOD for $24.99, with rental options at $19.99, and it will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on Sept. 22.
