Everytime You Switch Me Off, I Die. A Little: Light as Introspection at Foothold Gallery

The nomadic curatorial collective Like A Little Disaster has organized a group exhibition at Foothold gallery in Polignano a Mare, Puglia. Titled "Everytime you switch me off, I die. A little," the show explores light not as a physical phenomenon but as an introspective trigger for turning on or off intuitions and reflections about the world. The exhibition features diverse media: immersive installations by Corbascio, paintings by Martinucci that partially obscure Instagram-sourced subjects with monochrome brushstrokes, ready-mades modified with luminous technological devices by Koumantaki and Eigan, and a video by Ouyang presenting dialogues between an avatar and Louise Bourgeois on art. The show is part of Like A Little Disaster's ongoing open curatorial strategies in the region.
