Eva Marengo Sanchez's First Solo Show at Ruiz-Healy Art

Ruiz-Healy Art in San Antonio will present Eva Marengo Sanchez's first solo exhibition, titled "Any given Monday," from May 20 to August 22, 2026. The San Antonio-based artist's still-life paintings explore the intersections of food, identity, geography, and culture. Her meticulous compositions, reminiscent of Old Master paintings, elevate everyday subjects and reflect her bicultural Tex-Mex experience. The exhibition examines the convergence of private and public through still lifes that hold personal and collective memories. Marengo Sanchez, who grew up on the city's Southeast side, observes both the natural world and urban environment, as seen in her depiction of a striking instance.
