Eva Kreuger's 'Exploring the Living Studio' at Mucho Mas! in Turin

exhibition · 2026-04-27

Eva Kreuger (born 1995, Netherlands) lives in Haarlem and graduated in photography from AKV | St. Joost Breda in 2017. She was selected by Unseen Foundation for Futures Photography in 2019 and participated in the BredaPhoto support program. In 2021 she received the Artist Start grant from the Mondriaan Fund. Kreuger uses her archive as a starting point, classifying, combining, and modifying her collection of analog images bought online, recordings of previous exhibitions, and photographs taken in and outside her studio. She expands this archive through re-photography and copying. Struggling with the flat surface of photography, she moves images between two- and three-dimensional objects in sculptures and installations. Her solo show 'Exploring the Living Studio' is on view at Mucho Mas! in Turin, in collaboration with Camera Centro Italiano per la Fotografia and Giangavino Pazzola. The exhibition is accompanied by an interview with Davide Dal Sasso, in which Kreuger discusses her non-linear process, use of materials, narrative, and the fluidity of her archive.
