EVA International 2025 in Limerick explores solidarity and unease through curated artworks
The 41st EVA International, titled 'It Takes a Village', is taking place in Limerick, Ireland, until 26 October. Curated by Eszter Szakács, the event showcases 23 artists across 13 venues. Among the featured works is Reza Afisina's collaboration titled 'to have heart like Grass, holds up and stand fast' (2025). At the Limerick City Gallery, Ana Bravo-Pérez presents 'If we remain silent' (2023), highlighting feminist protests at the ICC. Yazan Khalili's 'All The Languages of Our Tongues' (2025) includes scarves with proceeds benefiting Palestinian grassroots initiatives.
