EVA International 2025 Curatorial Team Announced

festival-fair · 2026-04-24

The 41st iteration of EVA International, Ireland's contemporary art biennial, is scheduled to occur in Limerick city from 29 August to 26 October 2025. The curatorial team features Eszter Szakács as the Curator of the Guest Programme, alongside Iarlaith Ní Fheorais and Roy Claire Potter, who will serve as Selectors for EVA's Platform Commissions initiative, collaborating with EVA Director Matt Packer and the team. Szakács's vision promotes horizontal collaboration and reciprocal exchanges, aiming to reshape the international biennial's role in 2025 through exhibition-making, infrastructure development, and circular hosting practices. The Platform Commissions will prioritize 'access' from both artistic and operational viewpoints, with the chosen commissions to be revealed in summer 2024.
