festival-fair · 2026-04-22

Ireland's Biennial of Contemporary Art, EVA International, has announced the artists and collaborations for its 41st edition, set to take place from August 29 to October 26, 2025, in various locations throughout Limerick. Curated by Eszter Szakács and the EVA team, the Guest Programme, titled "It Takes a Village," draws inspiration from the saying "It takes a village to raise a child," highlighting the importance of community involvement. The initiative aims to amplify diverse artistic voices and engage with the socio-political landscape of the area. Featured artists include Noor Abuarafeh, Reza Afisina, Marwa Arsanios, and others. Established in 1977, EVA International transitioned to a biennial format after 2010, fostering collaborative artistic endeavors.
