Titled '508 Loop Detected,' the exhibition takes its name from an HTTP error code indicating an infinite loop, a theme that recurs throughout the show. The works explore the evolution of the internet from its utopian early days to the present era of AI and viral memes. Key pieces include 'Personal Photographs,' where a loop of ethernet cables endlessly transmits photos between two microcomputers without display, emphasizing data circulation. 'Roomba Cat' features a taxidermied cat on a robotic vacuum cleaner, blurring physical and virtual boundaries. The exhibition culminates with 'Up Next,' a slideshow about Iranian influencer Sahar Tabar, who transformed into a 'zombie Angelina Jolie' via makeup and Photoshop, leading to her arrest in December 2020 for blasphemy and depravity. The show critiques lost internet freedoms and the power of image circulation.
