Eugenio Tibaldi's 'Habitat 00 project #02' Engages Patients at Turin's Istituto Fisioterapico

Eugenio Tibaldi's 'Habitat 00 project #02' is on view at Sutura in Turin until May 31, 2025. The exhibition, curated by qwatz – contemporary art platform (Benedetta di Loreto and Rosa Ciacci), involves patients from the Istituto Fisioterapico di Torino. The work, a tangle of branches holding objects like monitors, armchairs, and birdcages, explores the relationship between human sociability and intimate identity. Patients are invited to draw elements from the artwork that represent their 'comfort zone'; these drawings are then displayed anonymously alongside the piece. Virginia Moniaci, president of Sutura and former director of the Istituto, initiated the project to merge scientific research with contemporary art. The exhibition is part of Sutura's mission to foster dialogue between art and health.
