Eugenio Tibaldi and Giuseppe Stampone Collaborate on Inclusive Art Project at Cooperativa Dolce

exhibition · 2026-05-05

The exhibition titled 'Inclusio. L’inclusione attraverso l’arte e la cooperazione,' featuring Eugenio Tibaldi and Giuseppe Stampone, will debut on February 2, 2018, at Cooperativa Sociale Dolce in Bologna. Curator Stampone describes the event as a political statement. Over a span of three months, they collaborated with the cooperative’s 3,000 staff members, addressing themes of training, migration, and social challenges. Tibaldi transformed photographs from the cooperative into innovative architectural scenes. A lamp contributed by users symbolizes discomfort. The display includes 'inclusive portraits' of employees merging into Picasso-inspired faces and a meeting table crafted from various homes in Bologna. Tibaldi's 'Pilastro' installation, a 30x30x270 cm column filled with items from local youth, contemplates public housing. Stampone also revealed plans for a prize in 2019 dedicated to art and cooperation initiatives.
