Etruscan Museum in Rome Hosts Overnight Event for Kids
On October 26, 2024, the Museo Nazionale Etrusco di Villa Giulia in Rome will host "Una Notte con gli Etruschi," an overnight event for children aged 7 to 12 accompanied by an adult. From 8 PM to 8 AM, participants in pajamas with flashlights, water bottles, and stuffed animals will explore the museum through a treasure hunt, team challenges, mythological character creation, bedtime stories, a midnight snack, and breakfast. This is the first time a museum of the Italian Ministry of Culture opens its doors for an entire night. Tickets cost €30 per person, available online only, and each child receives a gift at the end. Director Luana Toniolo stated the initiative aims to engage young visitors and families with Etruscan heritage through innovative educational experiences.
