Etnik, Hackatao, Idro51 design covers for Comix 2017 agenda

publication · 2026-05-05

Comix, an Italian comic periodical founded in 1992 and published until 1997, has revived its agenda as an artistic scouting platform. For the 2017 edition, three street artists—Etnik, Hackatao (duo Sergio Scalet and Nadia Squarci), and Idro51 (Flavio Melchiorre)—created limited-edition covers. Etnik's cover features a colorful, fantastical cityscape. Hackatao's work presents a crowded world of alien characters. Idro51, who began writing in the early 1990s, designed a black-and-white optical art composition.
