Estudio Mero Completes Casa Juriquilla Residence in Querétaro with Central Patio Design
Estudio Mero has completed Casa Juriquilla, a 350-square-meter residential project in 2024 located north of Querétaro in Mexico. The house was designed by architects Horacio Gutiérrez Merediz and Rodrigo Degetau Vom Hovel, with a team including Diego Alpizar and María Degetau. Structural engineering was handled by Lucía Valerio, while Rodrigo Degetau also served as purchasing coordinator. Photography for the project was executed by Dane Alonso. The design centers around a traditional central patio concept, integrating endemic vegetation and contemporary Mexican cultural elements. Materials and products were sourced from suppliers including Canto Artesanos, David Pompa, RADALK, Rokam, Studio Roca, and Taracea.
