festival-fair · 2026-05-05

During the 2017 Estampa contemporary art fair in Madrid, the Colecciona Meeting Point program, led by Eva Ruiz of Arternativ, drew approximately 40 international collectors from Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy to engage with Spanish collector associations such as 9915. This event took place at the Centro de Arte Alcobendas (CAA), a venue designed by Fernando Parrilla Villafruela and Maria Isabel Muñoz Parrilla, which opened its doors in 2010. Attendees explored the Tasman Collection, curated by Fernando Panizo and his wife Dorothy, showcasing around 400 artworks by artists including Hamish Fulton and Carlos Garaicoa. They also toured the Inelcom Collection, established by Vicente Quilis in 1980 and expanded under curator Vicent Todolí to feature works by Joan Jonas and Tacita Dean.
