Estampa Art Fair Celebrates 25th Edition in Madrid with New Initiatives
Estampa, the contemporary art fair established in Spain in 1993, is set to celebrate its 25th edition from September 21 to 24 at Matadero Madrid, showcasing between 70 and 80 galleries from Spain and Portugal. This year, the event will debut the Colecciona Meeting Point, led by Eva Ruiz, designed for private collectors and industry professionals. An international press initiative will be launched in partnership with Turespaña offices located in London, Berlin, Paris, and Rome. The Residencies Exchange II Curatorial Program will persist, emphasizing European artist residencies. Additionally, a discussion titled "Contemporary Art in Spain: From the Transition to Today," moderated by Rosina Gómez Baeza, will include prominent figures. The overall program features 69 galleries, a special project by Pedro Cabrita Reis, and the MAPA section curated by Guillermo Espinosa.
