Espace de l'art concret Rehang, Collages, and Hyperprismes 3
From July 1 to November 4, 2012, the Espace de l'art concret in Mouans-Sartoux is hosting three exhibitions at once. The first one is a revamped version of the permanent collection, which was originally set up by Gottfried Honegger when the building opened in 2004, designed by Annette Gigon and Mike Guyer. Director Fabienne Fulchéri convinced Honegger to refresh the display, emphasizing key works by Aurélie Nemours (Echiquier VII, 1975), André Cadere (Bâton), and François Morellet (Ligne droite n°2, 1984). The second exhibition, called Collages, explores modernist styles, showcasing artists like Léon Tutundjian, Michel Seuphor, and politically charged pieces by John Heartfield and others. Lastly, Hyperprismes 3 features sound artist Pascal Broccolichi and Jérôme Poret, who transforms the space with rock-inspired performance art.
