Escuela Bossard: New Primary School Building in Unterägeri, Switzerland

The Bossard School in Unterägeri, Switzerland, has been expanded with a new primary school building, replacing the historic 'Mädchenhaus' (girls' house). The project was designed by Gut Deubelbeiss Nill Architekten, with landscape architecture by Iten Landschaftsarchitekten, construction management by CST Architekten, and structural engineering by Pirmin Jung. The new building is part of the school complex, which is listed in the Canton of Zug's heritage protection register. The project covers an area of 699 m² and was completed in 2025. The client is Dr. Bossard Erben AG, Zug. The school complex has grown over several construction phases, and the new building adds a contemporary element to the historical ensemble.
