Es Devlin Named Artistic Director of Homo Faber 2026 in Venice
The upcoming Homo Faber event, named "An Island of Light," is set to take place from September 1 to 30, 2026, at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice. This fourth edition is organized by the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship, with British artist Es Devlin serving as the artistic director. Devlin previously drew approximately 200,000 attendees to her "Library of Light" installation at Milan's Salone del Mobile in April 2025. The exhibition will include 15 immersive light installations crafted by Devlin and her team, highlighting the work of numerous global artisans.
