Erika Gaetani: From Instagram Curator to Metaverse Exhibition Maker

Erika Gaetani, known online as Erika Gaet, has built a following of over 50,000 on Instagram by demystifying contemporary art. With a master's degree in Contemporary Art History, she started her career as a curator in her native Puglia before shifting to social media communication. She collaborates with galleries and artists, hosts live sessions during the pandemic, and runs a weekly contest to promote emerging artists. Her latest curatorial project is 'Time,' a virtual exhibition by Roman artist Giulio Marchetti, opening November 8, 2022, on the Spatial platform. The immersive show reinterprets art history through Marchetti's works, from classical sculptures to pieces referencing Amazon's founding and the pandemic, including popular works on Achille Lauro and Marina Abramović.
