Erieta Attali's Photographic Meditation on Delos and the Aegean

The internationally renowned landscape and architecture photographer Erieta Attali (PhD) presents 'Archipelago of Memory | From Delos to the Aegean', a photographic meditation on the transformations of the Aegean landscape. The exhibition, held in collaboration with the Municipality of Mykonos, the Ephorate of Antiquities of the Cyclades of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, and the Aegean Maritime Museum, transcends the boundaries of space and the geographic circle of the Cyclades, engaging with the history of civilization through the exchange between landscape and art. Attali's work begins from the edges of maps and the limits of the known world to seek its symbolic center, focusing on the ancient island of Delos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990. Through her lens, she captures the spirit of the place, the Genius Loci that made the Aegean the cradle of civilization from prehistory to the 21st century. The exhibition features seascapes, night shots, and long-exposure photographs, showing the change of solar and lunar light, architectural fragments, ancient remains, and mosaics, revealing the sanctuaries of the past and transforming them into sacred landscapes of the present.
