Erewhon opens first museum café at LACMA's new David Geffen galleries
Founded in 1968, Erewhon, an organic grocery chain in Southern California, has unveiled its first museum café at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The café welcomed members for previews starting April 19th and will open to the public on May 4th, remaining operational throughout the summer. Located in the northeast pavilion of W.M. Keck plaza, it offers views of Alexander Calder's 1964 kinetic fountain, Three Quintains (Hello Girls). This launch aligns with the debut of LACMA's new David Geffen galleries. Known for its ethically-sourced offerings, Erewhon will serve organic coffee, matcha, pastries, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and popular takeaway snacks like buffalo cauliflower and ranch kale. Recently, the brand has gained traction for items such as sea moss gel and strawberry smoothies with pearl powder.
