Equidistanze: 32 Artists, 100 Works at Magazzeno's Ravenna Residency

On September 5 and 6, 2020, Podere Schiavina in Filetto di Ravenna will host over 100 pieces from 32 artists, showcasing the final restitution of Equidistanze, an artist residency initiated by Magazzeno Art Gallery. Gallerist Alessandra Carini developed this initiative during the lockdown to rejuvenate the Italian art scene. Approximately twenty artists were chosen via an open call, with additional participants invited by the gallery. Those involved were provided with accommodation and meals throughout July and August. Following this event, the exhibition will be relocated to Magazzeno Art Gallery for a two-month period. Carini emphasized that the project is self-financed and aspires to become an annual event, promoting collaboration between the gallery and emerging artists while drawing in varied audiences.
