Enrico Pulsoni Returns to Abruzzo with Multidisciplinary Show at MuSpAC

Enrico Pulsoni (Avezzano, 1956) presents a solo exhibition at the MuSpAC – Museo sperimentale di arte contemporanea dell’Aquila, marking his return to his home region. The show features works on paper, graphics, paintings, and sculptures that inhabit the hybrid research space. Pulsoni’s chameleonic practice moves fluidly between painting, sculpture, and language, informed by his theater experience. The exhibition is curated by Martina Sconci, Ivan D’Alberto, and Antonello Tolve, who also authored the monograph 'Enrico Pulsoni 1975-2021' (Vanilla Edizioni, Albissola Marina 2022). Tolve coined the phrase 'affilati brusii linguistici' (sharp linguistic murmurs) to describe the artist’s materials and techniques, which give rhythm to the show. The title 'Brusii' (Murmurs) references subtle sounds of things stirring, whispers, and gatherings. Pulsoni’s work explores human diversity and creativity through a pluralistic use of expressive media. His practice evokes a renewed expressionism, creating spaces for living through signs and traces of figures.
