Enio Squeff's 118 m² Panel 'De Saulo de Tarso a São Paulo' Installed at USP Leste
Enio Squeff's artwork, 'De Saulo de Tarso a São Paulo,' which spans 118 square meters, will be permanently installed at the University of São Paulo's School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (EACH-USP Leste) in the East Zone of São Paulo. This acrylic-on-wood piece, created in 2004 for the city's 450th anniversary, measures 4.10 by 29 meters and incorporates diverse cultural elements. Since 2019, a five-meter-high stained glass representation of Saint Paul has been displayed in the EACH auditorium lobby, and it will now be paired with the painting. Following restoration from termite damage, the artwork is set to be unveiled in 2026, with Squeff aiming to enhance engagement with the university community.
