Endless: Street Artist Satirizes Fashion World with Lizzy Vuitton and Chapel Series

London-based street artist Endless, who participated in the 2022 Venice Biennale in the Pavilion of the Republic of San Marino, recently concluded his first museum exhibition 'Endless Treviso' at Casa Robegan on February 26. The show featured works on canvas, paper, fabric, installations, and murals outside the venue. Endless, a graduate of Cambridge School of Art, is known for incorporating mosaics, road signs, advertisements, and newspaper clippings into his work. His popular series 'Lizzy Vuitton' depicts Queen Elizabeth II as a fashion icon, blending British humor with commentary on luxury branding. The 'Chapel' series reimagines Chanel N°5 perfume bottles as religious icons, critiquing society's worship of luxury brands as a new religion. For 'Endless Treviso', he created 'Crotch Grab', a fabric remake of a 1990s Calvin Klein ad featuring Mark Wahlberg, which became the first street art piece to enter the Uffizi Gallery in Florence in 2021. Endless draws visual inspiration from street advertisements and fashion, but avoids aligning with art or fashion trends, focusing instead on creativity without labels.
