Emmy Awards 2024: Succession, The Bear, Beef Triumph at Delayed Ceremony
The 75th Emmy Awards, which were delayed because of the Hollywood writers' strike, took place on January 15-16, 2024, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. HBO's Succession took home the award for Best Drama Series, with Kieran Culkin winning Best Actor, Sarah Snook earning Best Actress, and Matthew Macfadyen recognized as Best Supporting Actor. FX's The Bear was named Best Comedy Series, with Jeremy Allen White as Best Actor, Ayo Edebiri as Best Supporting Actress, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Best Supporting Actor. Netflix's Beef won Best Limited Series, featuring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong as Best Actor and Actress. Additional winners included Quinta Brunson, Jennifer Coolidge, Paul Walter Hauser, Niecy Nash-Betts, Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, Elton John Live, and RuPaul's Drag Race.
