Netflix has announced that the hit series 'Emily in Paris' will conclude after its sixth season. Filming for the final season has commenced in Greece, with additional scenes set in Paris and Monaco. The show, created by Darren Star, follows Chicago marketing executive Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) navigating life in Paris. The sixth season will serve as the final chapter, picking up from a cliffhanger involving Gabriel (Lucas Bravo). Collins will be joined by Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Lucien Laviscount, Samuel Arnold, and Bruno Gouery. No official launch date has been given. The series debuted in 2020 and has amassed significant viewership, with the last season garnering 26.8 million views in 11 days. Creator Darren Star was honored with the Legion of Honour by President Emmanuel Macron for spotlighting France. The show has faced criticism for its idealized portrayal of Paris.
