Emilio Isgrò and Giovanni Caccamo collaborate at MACC Scicli

A new collaboration between artist Emilio Isgrò and singer-songwriter Giovanni Caccamo has resulted in a song and limited edition prints, presented at the MACC (Museo d'Arte Contemporanea del Carmine) in Scicli, Sicily. The project stems from Caccamo's 2021 album 'Parola', which featured readings by Willem Dafoe, Patti Smith, and Liliana Segre, and led to the collective initiative 'Parola ai giovani' with the Vatican Museums and MAXXI. For the MACC retrospective of Isgrò, Caccamo set Isgrò's poem 'Ti amo' to music, creating the song 'Terra'. The limited edition includes a CD and two prints by Isgrò: 'Carta siciliana' (2025) and 'Ti amo' (2025), produced by printmaker Loredana Amenta using an 1850s Albion press. The collaboration emphasizes intergenerational dialogue and the cultural vitality of Sicily.
