Emiliano Paoletti appointed director of Polo del '900 in Turin
Emiliano Paoletti, a 47-year-old cultural planner from Rome with a Contemporary History degree from the University of Bologna, has been selected as the new director of the Polo del '900 in Turin after a competitive search involving 28 applicants. He succeeds Alessandro Bollo, whose tenure ended on April 1. Established in 2016, the Polo del '900 is a cultural center dedicated to 20th-century history and has recently increased its partner organizations from 22 to 26. With a background in organizing significant events, Paoletti previously held the position of Secretary General for the Biennial of Young Artists of Europe and the Mediterranean. His vision includes engaging youth through music and initiating experimental programs in the spring and summer. The Polo has also received a UNESCO recognition for its efforts in merging heritage conservation with sustainable development.
