Emerige Opens New Art Center 'Le Large' on Île Seguin

The Emerige group has finalized the Pointe des Arts project on Île Seguin in Boulogne-Billancourt, introducing 'Le Large', an art center crafted by RCR Arquitectes and CALQ. Spanning 10,000 square meters, the facility boasts 2,000 square meters dedicated to exhibitions and a hall with a curved wall reaching 14 meters in height. Under the leadership of Paula Aisemberg, entry will be free for those under 26, with the goal of engaging a wide range of visitors, as endorsed by mayor Pierre-Christophe Baguet. The development also includes a Pathé cinema, a sculpture park, and a hotel. The first exhibition, 'Moteur imaginaire', is set to launch in autumn 2026, featuring works from Renault's collection alongside new contributions from various artists. Mayor Baguet expects to welcome two million visitors each year.
