Elsewhere art fair launches in Philadelphia with hotel-based format

The Elsewhere art fair is happening in Philadelphia from June 4-6 at the Yowie Hotel, featuring 26 exhibitors from the US, Canada, and Europe. Megan Galardi, who runs Blah Blah Gallery, created this fair to emphasize community and intimacy rather than just scale. This event marks the return of art fairs to Philadelphia since the Philadelphia Fine Art Fair last took place in 2019. Local favorites like Fjord and Pentimenti will be there, along with New York's 81 Leonard Gallery. Internationally, Harlesden High Street from London and Janey from Toronto are joining in. With booth fees around $3,000, it's affordable for new galleries and includes panels, DJ sets, and guided tours. Galardi hopes to attract fresh audiences to Philadelphia's vibrant arts scene.
