Elliott Erwitt's Milan show moves online with video series
The Elliott Erwitt exhibition at Mudec Photo in Milan, originally scheduled to close on March 29, has been moved online due to the health emergency. Curator Biba Giacchetti produced a series of videos for the project Pausa ad Arte, featuring five of the American photographer's works. Starting April 25, the museum's social media channels will release one 60-second video each Saturday morning for five weeks. The initiative was developed with Lavazza, the main sponsor of Mudec Photo, which has been involved in photography since 1993 through its Lavazza Calendar. The first video was released on April 25 on Mudec's Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter profiles. The series will conclude with a final virtual tour of the exhibition where only the images speak.
