Elizaveta Konovalova's 'Moscow in the Spring' at Galerie du Crous
Elizaveta Konovalova, a 1986 native of Moscow and a graduate of the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris in 2010, received the Boesner prize at the Jeune Création salon. Her exhibition titled 'Moscow in the Spring' took place at Galerie du Crous in Paris from 14 to 23 November 2013, featuring a triangle diagram sourced from an old English textbook. Among the displayed works are 'Aurora', a vibrant array of A4 graph paper, and her artist book 'Inn Diary', which presents daily photographs of rivers. Another piece, 'Printemps', showcases raw bricks on a collapsing palette. For 'Millefeuille', she has amassed 450 second-hand bed sheets and graph paper. A film captures her performance in Kronstadt, where she responded to a siren using a tuba.
