Venezuelan-born artist Elisa Vladilo has completed Echo Surrounding, a 1,550-square-meter environmental painting on the public roadway of the Porto Vecchio museum area in Trieste. The vibrant work in yellow, orange, purple, and fuchsia is part of the urban redevelopment for the EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF), Europe's most important biennial scientific conference, to be held at the site.
