Eli Wilner Frame Funding Program Commits $175,000 to Museums

institutional · 2026-05-09

Eli Wilner & Company has allocated its entire initial Eli Wilner Frame Funding by the end of April to assist museums and institutions throughout the United States. Additionally, $175,000 in new funding has been obtained from various donors, which will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until May 31, 2026. Applications can be submitted via email at info@eliwilner.com. As part of this initiative, the company reframed Thomas Cole's "Genesee Scenery (Mountain Landscape with Waterfall)" (1847), which is part of the Rhode Island School of Design Museum's collection. Previously framed in 1970s stock molding, the painting now benefits from an 1870 American fluted cove frame, selected in collaboration with the museum, thanks to private donor support.
