ELFAN Pop-Up Store at Galerie Aalamuna Supports Lebanese Red Cross
On May 30–31, ELFAN will host a pop-up store at Galerie Aalamuna in Paris, featuring Lebanese artists including painters, illustrators, photographers, ceramists, and jewelers. The event marks ELFAN's three-and-a-half-year anniversary and showcases the 'Répertoire d'artistes Libanais' online platform. Ten percent of sales proceeds will be donated to the Lebanese Red Cross. Participating artists include Gaëlle Ghattas, Joseph Chalouhi, Fabienne Touma El Khoury, Léonie Freigi, Maria (founder of RYA), Michelle, Maysa Phares (Falafel Sunrise), and Walid Mroueh. ELFAN, founded by Fabienne Touma, aims to promote Lebanese art and culture internationally, offering visibility and opportunities for artists. The initiative began three and a half years ago with an online directory inspired by France's FRAC. Touma emphasized the importance of supporting Lebanese culture amid war and conflict, stating that expatriates have a role in keeping it alive abroad.
