Elektra's 7th Digital Art Biennial in Montreal Showcases AI and Generative Works
The 7th Elektra International Digital Art Biennial, curated by Alain Thibault, is currently on display at Arsenal art contemporain in Montreal, running until July 21, 2024. This exhibition showcases approximately thirty artists, emphasizing themes of illusion and artificial intelligence. Notable works include David Rokeby's interactive piece Voice Scroll (2021-24), Kurt d'Haeseleer’s Animal Locomotion (2023), Sébastien Lacomblez and Emmanuel Pire's generative animation les Formes vides (2024), and Navid Navab’s performance Organism linked to Excitable Chaos (2024).
