El Mayab Sports and Cultural Center Opens in Mexico City
The El Mayab Sports and Cultural Center, designed by Taller de Arquitectura Miguel Montor, has opened in Mexico City as part of the Urban Improvement Program (PMU). The 12,500-square-meter facility, completed in 2025, aims to address high social vulnerability through public infrastructure. Lead architect Miguel Montor led the project with collaborators Pilar Rico and Diego Portilla. The center was promoted by the Secretariat of Agrarian, Territorial, and Urban Development. Photographs by Bryan Arellano document the new recreational and training space.
