El Grove Family Home by Olson Kundig in Guadalupe Valley
El Grove, a family home designed by Olson Kundig, is located in the Guadalupe Valley, a region known for its food and wine culture. The project, completed in 2024, covers 270 m² and is organized as a collection of small buildings. Rows of one hundred olive trees create a formal entrance to the triangular site, filtering views and honoring the area's olive oil production history. The design team includes Tom Kundig, Jerry Garcia, and Mikel Amias, with Tom Kundig as lead architect. Photographs are by César Bejar. The project was curated by Hadir Al Koshta.
