Eisa Jocson Wins Hugo Boss Asia Art Award for Corponomy Installation

Eisa Jocson has won the Hugo Boss Asia Art Award, receiving RMB 300,000 (approximately £33,400). Her winning work, Corponomy (2019), is a four-channel video installation exploring gender politics and bodily commodification in the Philippines. The piece is exhibited alongside works by finalists Hao Jingban, Hsu Che-Yu, and Thao-Nguyên Phan at Shanghai's Rockbund Art Museum until 5 January.
