Eight Italian Galleries Unite for 'Italians' Booth at Art Basel Hong Kong 2021

At Art Basel Hong Kong 2021, a collective booth named 'Italians' will be presented by eight Italian galleries: Artiaco, Cardi, Continua, MASSIMODECARLO, Maggiore, Rossi&Rossi, Mazzoleni, and Noero, with support from the Italian Cultural Institute of Hong Kong. The initiative, organized by Stefano Fossati and curated by Fabio Cavallucci, will display a selection of contemporary Italian art spanning from the 20th century to the present, featuring notable artists such as Giorgio Morandi, Lucio Fontana, Michelangelo Pistoletto, and Paola Pivi. This project is included in the 'Italian Style' exhibition series. The fair is scheduled for May 21–23, with VIP previews on May 19–20. Fossati highlighted the necessity for creative approaches due to the pandemic.
