In Dubai, Efie Gallery is presenting the group exhibition titled 'time heals, just not quick enough...', curated by Ose Ekore. This showcase includes works from five contemporary artists: Aïda Muluneh, Samuel Fosso, Sumayah Fallatah, Kelani Abass, and Abeer Sultan. The exhibition delves into themes of memory, healing, and emotional remnants through various forms of media, such as photography, textile art, and installations. Among the highlights is Samuel Fosso’s '70's Lifestyle' (1974–78), a series of self-portraits reflecting on identity and African American culture. The exhibition will be open until 30 July 2024 at Efie Gallery's new location in Dubai.
