Eduardo Terrazas's London exhibition at Timothy Taylor highlights his multidisciplinary legacy

exhibition · 2026-04-20

From September 4 to October 4, 2015, Eduardo Terrazas will showcase his solo exhibition at Timothy Taylor in London. The Mexican artist has recently garnered fresh interest after being in the shadow of figures like Gabriel Orozco. Terrazas, who began his artistic journey in 1974, is known for co-designing the logo for the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City and for his 'Possibilities of a Structure' series, which employs Huichol techniques. He has worked closely with the Huichol community and created the famous inflatable ball-balloon for the Olympics. With a career exceeding 45 years, over 600 of his works were documented in a 2012 catalogue. He has also engaged in urban planning and participated in discussions at the Sharjah Biennial and Art Basel.
